We had a great evening at Coleg Cambria Awards Ceremony, lots of very talented students receiving there awards, with proud parents accompany them, with some studio shots to take home with them from our instant print station we set up.

Tower Hill Barns, Wrexham – Sara & James

Just a few photos here to tease you with today, On Friday I was at the Trevor Villa Barn in Wrexham. The day was SIMPLY AMAZING as Sara and James were the nicest couple you could wish to meet and spend the day with Photographing them!.
Here’s just a few shots as I know James has to fly off to his job again soon, so he can look at these before he off again!
What a beautiful venue to get married at, it’s a family run wedding venue in the rural heart of North Wales and they have some stunning renovations planned to the barn in 2015!
Wrexham Parish Church & Wild Pheasant Hotel, Llangollen – Catryn & Shaun

This past weekend saw us photographing a wedding at one of our favourite venues!, the Wild Pheasant Hotel in Llangollen, we started off with some pre-shots of Catryn in her room with her Bridesmaid Sara & Maid of Honour Lorna Ward.
Although the weather was not playing ball on the day, as it was heavy rain one minute then blue sky’s the next!, it didn’t dampen Sara or Shaun’s spirits, as they were well up for a full fun day of shots which they had asked for and we were very happy to oblige!, we then moved on to Wrexham Parish Church for the Ceremony, quickly got all the Church formal shots wrapped up, in-between the heavy rain, which kept coming and going, then we traveled back to the hotel for the main group shots and just finished in time for the Wedding Breakfast and speeches, which is always one of my favourite parts of the day, with all the emotions that come with close family & friends telling each other and sometimes realising for the first time, just how important their family and friends really are to them, I think we all lead such busy lives now, we don’t always have time to take stock of whats really important to us!.

Saturday was another very challenging day weather wise , but that didn’t dampen the spirits of Clare & David who were such a wonderful couple ? the day started off at a beautiful church called St Albans in Tattenhall, the rain was constant so we shot the main bridal party inside the church, then all moved on to Rossett Hall in Chester, but a HUGE thanks goes out to the amazing venue staff, who really looked after us with setting up the spare conference room for some group shots due to the weather constraints! ? if thats how they look after the hired help I can only imagine that the bride and groom and all their guests felt like nothing on earth as the hospitality was second to NONE, and I don’t say that lightly.
Anyway the photos for the couple were a challenge as it rained quite heavily all day, you would have heard me say time and time before that if it rains on your wedding day that is NO excuse for your photgrapher not getting great shots for you.? Well later when you see more photos ? I might add a few more after my next shoot ? you will see we pulled off some amazing photos despite the weather.
